Maintenance of solar panels includes regular cleaning, enhanced protection, regular inspection, careful use, lightning
protection measures, and the selection of installation companies with standardized management.
1)Regular cleaning: Remove dust, water accumulation and other pollution in a timely manner to prevent dusting,
neutralization and adhesion, which will lead to a decrease in the efficiency of the cells. It is recommended to choose
to clean when the light is weak, such as in the morning or evening, to avoid the risks of operating under strong
sunlight. Before cleaning, check the integrity of the solar panel and whether the connecting wires and related
components are intact to prevent safety accidents. Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the surface of the battery, and
avoid using hard, sharp tools or corrosive, alkaline organic solvents to prevent scratches or corrosion on the surface
of the panel. Personnel who clean solar panels should wear appropriate work clothes and hats to avoid scratches and
injuries. At the same time, it is forbidden to have parts that are easy to cause entanglement on clothes or tools, such
as hooks, straps, etc. Ensure that the entire panel is thoroughly cleaned, especially the corners and areas prone to
dust accumulation, to avoid partial shading and increase in load resistance, which affects the power generation
efficiency.
2)Enhance protection: Take measures that are conducive to protecting solar panels, such as adding sun protection
panels, protective nets, etc.
3)Regular inspection: Check whether the wiring on the panels and brackets is tight to ensure good heat dissipation.
At the same time, check whether the panels are burned or damaged. Carry out charging and discharging operations
at least once a month to avoid overcharging and overdischarging to maintain battery performance and life.
4)Pay attention to use: When using electric equipment, pay attention to protecting the panels from wear and tear.
In daily use, it is necessary to pay attention to the correct use of solar panel energy storage batteries, avoid
overdischarge and overcharging, and avoid excessive physical impact on the battery.
5)Lightning protection measures: Install measures such as electrostatic lightning protection devices to provide
effective lightning protection.
6)Choose an installation company with standardized management: Carry out necessary inspections and
maintenance during installation, and choose an installation company with good management standards for
installation and maintenance work.
Through the above maintenance measures, the service life of solar panels can be effectively extended and the power
generation efficiency can be improved. If you do not have relevant professional cleaning knowledge, it is
recommended not to clean it yourself. It is best to ask professional photovoltaic cleaning personnel to clean and
repair it to ensure that the photovoltaic modules are not damaged during the cleaning process.
