The solar system can generate electricity from Solar Panel Array, then send to the battery and inverter through MPPT charge controller(all in one inverter). During the daytime, the battery will be charged fully when power the loads at the same time. After sun set, the system will discharge energy from battery power bank and power the loads.
The system is composed of 5 parts mainly:
1. 8 pcs of 550W solar panels, with each size: 2279*1134*35mm.(A single row with 8 modules, configured in two strings of four modules in parallel. Each pair of modules is connected in series, and the four pairs are connected in parallel.)
2. Solar panel racks, which is used to fix up 8 pcs of panels.
3. All in one off grid inverter with MPPT and charge controller
4. 51.2V 100AH lithium battery
5. Combine Box
We would like to share some installation skills of solar moduels for your reference.
Installation Measures for Solar Modules:
Installation Process: Deliver modules to the construction site → Two personnel install and pre-tighten on the supports → Two other personnel adjust the module gaps and level the modules → Re-tighten the module bolts.
A. Horizontal gap between PV modules is 20mm, and the vertical column spacing is also 20mm.
B. At least two personnel must be involved in handling PV modules to prevent knocks, collisions, scratches, and rough handling.
C. If the contact surface between the PV module and the rail does not fit, metal shims should be used to adjust and level the surface before tightening. Forcible pressing is strictly prohibited.
Inspection of Solar Panels upon Arrival
a. Solar panels should be free from deformation, with no damaged, scratched, or cracked glass. (On-site installation personnel should first check for any damage to the panels upon unpacking. If damage is found, maintain the status quo and immediately contact the project department for photographic documentation and processing.)
b. Measure the open-circuit voltage of the solar panels under sunlight. The output terminals of the panels should match the marked positive and negative poles. The front glass of the panel should be free from cracks and damage, and the back should be free from scratches and burrs. Before installation, measure the open-circuit voltage of individual panels under sunlight to ensure compliance with national inspection standards.
Leveling of Solar Panels
a. Tie two taut strings respectively to the upper and lower ends of the panel array.
b. Use the taut strings as a reference to adjust the remaining panels, ensuring they are aligned in a single plane.
c. Tighten all bolts.
d. There are a total of 8 panels, with two panels connected in series to form one string, and four strings connected in parallel. Be cautious about the positive and negative terminals; do not connect them incorrectly. Verify the open-circuit voltage of the panel strings (use a clamp-on ammeter to check for shorts and a voltmeter to measure the voltage). After confirming correct connections, disconnect one panel's wiring to ensure safe operation during subsequent steps.
